Hanscom Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its 21st branch at Coast Guard Base Boston with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 28th.
To mark the grand opening, the credit union presented a $1,000 check to benefit Coast Guard Mutual Assistance. The check was accepted by Captain James “Brett” Millican, the Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Base Boston.
“Our newest branch, though small, will serve a big need for the Coast Guard family,” said Paul Marotta, Hanscom FCU’s Chairman of the Board, who handled ribbon-cutting honors for the branch. “We’ll be offering the same top-notch level of service and products our other branches offer in a location that’s convenient for these members. Hanscom FCU’s motto is ‘People Helping People,’ and the US Coast Guard shares that mission. We’re proud to serve these members, and we’re proud to open another branch of Hanscom FCU.”
The full-service branch is located on the second floor of the Coast Guard Exchange and offers members an opportunity to expand their financial literacy with Hanscom FCU’s educational materials and products.
