Hanscom Federal Credit Union recently honored its Chairman of the Board Paul Marotta with a Board Service Award for his 30 years of steadfast service and dedication to its members.
“Paul has led the credit union through some challenging times, and it’s to his credit that Hanscom Federal Credit Union is the strong, stable financial institution it is today,” said Mark Walsh, Hanscom FCU’s Vice Chairman of the Board. “The service award is but a small token of our appreciation for his leadership and wise counsel we’ve come to depend upon.”
An accountant by trade with a background in finance, Mr. Marotta held several civilian Air Force roles prior to joining Hanscom FCU, including working as an audit manager and later as a member of the base commander’s action group for the three-star general at Hanscom AFB. He joined Hanscom FCU in 1976, serving first on its Supervisory Committee before becoming its Director in 1988. Mr. Marotta was elected to his present position of Chairman of the Board in 1992.
