We're excited to announce our new Your Way accounts and services that provide customizable solutions that put you in control of your finances.
What this means for you:
Effective November 1, 2023, if you have Free Checking, Kasasa Cash Checking, or Kasasa Cash Back Checking, your account will be migrated to Your Way Checking. If you have Kasasa Saver Savings, your account will be migrated to Your Way Savings. You will continue to have no minimum balance requirement and no monthly maintenance fee, and your account number will remain the same. These changes will keep more money in your pocket and working for you.
The Your Way accounts and service suite is available today! Meet with a Financial Wellness Representative to determine the best accounts and services for you and your goals. Our representatives will make the transfer to the new accounts and enrollment in the new services fast and easy.

- Why is Hanscom FCU eliminating the Free Checking account?
We're not eliminating free checking, but enhancing it! Your Way Checking is a free checking account that provides access to innovative Your Way accounts and services. You'll enjoy the same no-minimum-balance and no monthly service fee structure that you do today.
- Why is Hanscom FCU eliminating the Kasasa Checking and Savings accounts?
Kasasa encourages spending with its transaction requirements. On the other hand, Your Way accounts and services are designed to keep your money in your pocket and working for you.
- When will the final reward, dividend, or ATM surcharge rebate be posted to my Kasasa Cash Checking or my Kasasa Cash Back Checking account?
To receive rewards, dividends, or ATM surcharge rebates, your account must be a Kasasa Cash or a Kasasa Cash Back Checking account through the end of a qualification period. Please see the Kasasa Truth in Savings Addendum for more information. The final qualification period is October 1 through October 31, 2023. Rewards, dividends, and ATM surcharge rebates for the final qualification period will be posted on November 1, 2023.
- How may I obtain a full disclosure packet for the Your Way Checking or Your Way Savings account?
You may visit any branch, contact the Member Engagement Center at 800-656-4328 to have a packet mailed to you or you may access the Disclosure for Personal Accounts and Fee Schedule here.
- Where can I find the rates for the Your Way Savings account?
- May a business open Your Way Checking or Your Way Savings accounts?
The Your WayChecking and Your Way Savings accounts are for individuals and may not be opened by a business.
- I want to make the switch to Your Way Checking before November 1. Do I have to visit a branch and meet with a representative?
You may also make the switch by calling our Member Engagement Center at (800) 656-4328.
- If I am a Kasasa member and I will not longer receive ATM surcharge rebates, how do I find an ATM that waives the surcharge fee?

- May I have more than one Your Way Checking account?
Yes. You may have multiple Your Way Checking accounts.
- May I have more than one Your Way Savings account?
Yes. You may have multiple Your Way savings accounts.
- May I open just the Your Way Savings account?
You must open a Your Way Checking account to open a Your Way Savings account.
- I used to receive a free box of checks every year. Will I be able to receive any boxes of free checks in the future?
We invite you to try other payment methods such as a debit card, online bill payment, mobile wallet, Pay a Person, and external transfers — all at no additional cost to you. However, we understand this is a change and are happy to order you one additional box of checks.
