LITTLETON, MA (August 2, 2022) – Hanscom Federal Credit Union’s Operations Office has announced the promotion of three employees to senior-level management positions.

Monique D. Archambeault has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations. Archambeault, who has the distinction of being one of Hanscom FCU’s longest-tenured employees, oversees the operational activities and initiatives for the credit union, primarily responsible for oversight of the operational integrity of its Card Service, Deposit Operations, and Branch Operations departments. In her new role, she’ll also be responsible for helping to drive the execution of organizational strategy to ensure that the credit union’s goals and objectives are successfully met.

Since her start at Hanscom FCU in 1982, Archambeault has held a number of different positions, starting with Head Teller and climbing the career ladder to Communications Director, Member Services Manager, Operations Manager, and Vice President, Operations most recently. She was a member of the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) and a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) for many years.

Carol Perron has been named Senior Vice President, Branch Banking. Perron joined Hanscom FCU in July 2018 as Vice President, Branch Administration, and was responsible for eight retail locations, as well as the credit union’s Member Relations department and Call Centers. In her new role, Perron will oversee a new reporting structure within all branches, as well as deliver on the strategic initiatives developed for branch staff.

Prior to joining Hanscom FCU, Perron held senior-level positions at Leominster Credit Union and Commerce Bank & Trust.

Cynthia Lewis was promoted to Vice President, Branch Operations, and will report to Archambeault in her new role. Lewis, who has been with Hanscom FCU since 2004, will be overseeing a department that’s responsible for writing and updating all operational procedures for branches and Remote Support, as well as preparing the credit union’s 22 branches for all regulatory and security audits.

Lewis began her banking career at Shawmut Bank, and later Sovereign Bank, where she worked her way from Teller to AVP, Branch Manager.

Archambeault and Perron will continue reporting to Chief Operating Officer Jim Potter, who said, “Monique and Carol have been integral to the growth and success of Hanscom FCU, and I’m excited about their new roles within the organization, especially as we enhance our Project Management Office and develop our Lean process improvement program. Their institutional knowledge combined with their unique abilities to motivate and achieve results within their departments are invaluable, and I couldn’t be more pleased to elevate them into these senior leadership roles in the Operations Office.”

“Cynthia’s leadership qualities have been evident to all at Hanscom FCU,” he continued. “Only once in the credit union’s history has an employee won our coveted Cushman Award twice, an award that recognizes an employee who exemplifies the credit union’s core values of Members First, Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, and Empathy, and that employee is Cynthia. She’s known for her positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and we’re grateful to have her on our team.”
