LITTLETON, MA (July 11, 2022) – Hanscom Federal Credit Union has announced that Maria Laverghetta has joined its Strategy office as Vice President, Insight & Analytics, reporting to Chief Strategy Officer Dan Ziniti.

The knowledge and experience Laverghetta brings to Hanscom FCU will be invaluable as it aims to adapt and respond to an ever-changing financial services industry. She has over ten years’ experience in roles of increasing responsibility in data analytics, customer experience (CX), business intelligence (BI), and marketing strategy. Five of those years were most recently spent in financial services, where she handled a wide variety of customer-centric and mission-critical initiatives, including the creation and launch of a cross-functional team of senior analysts to promote the effective use of BI reporting.

Although focusing her career predominantly within the financial services sector, prior to this, Laverghetta held positions in marketing and business development in various industries such as higher education and wholesale manufacturing.

 “How we use the massive amounts of data we have access to as a financial institution is central to our ability to succeed in the digital age,” said Ziniti. “Gleaning insights from data allows us to understand and serve our members effectively, and to understand our business in a way that helps us make the best decisions.”

Laverghetta holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Florida (B.S., Journalism and B.A., Music, Voice, and Opera) and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northeastern University.
