LITTLETON, MA (December 12, 2022) – Hanscom Federal Credit Union has announced a key leadership hire with Jim Flanagan, an executive with twenty years of broad experience across technology business units, recently joining the purpose-driven organization as its Chief Information Officer.

Flanagan’s wide-ranging experience with technology operations, support, service, and training was honed at Commonwealth Financial Network, where he worked in roles of increasing responsibility within IT for the past twenty years. His most recent role was Vice President Technology Operations and Support, responsible for managing daily IT operations, infrastructure/application/production support, and outsourced IT vendors, including SLAs and contract management, as well as a technology team of approximately 120 members, with a strong focus on performance metrics and data governance.

He holds multiple certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as well as a host of IT certifications. His experience with gamification will be one of the cornerstones in the organization’s financial wellness programming across all channels.

Flanagan is an MBA candidate at Endicott College and holds a B.S. in Communications from Fitchburg State University. He and his family reside in Arlington, Mass.
