LITTLETON, MA (December 8, 2022) – Hanscom Federal Credit Union has announced the appointment of Penelope (Penny) Swallow to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Swallow brings extensive experience with finance, budgeting, accounting, and treasury within credit unions and other financial institutions to her role at Hanscom FCU. She was the Vice President of Finance for UniBank for Savings, where she was responsible for the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO), budgeting, treasury, and accounting for the organization. Prior to this, she worked in roles of increasing management responsibility at St Anne’s Credit Union, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, Bancware, and Rockland Trust.

In addition, Swallow is a Board member and the Treasurer of the Lowell Day Nursery and a volunteer with the Northborough Food Pantry.

Swallow, who resides in Northborough, holds an MBA from Babson College and earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
