Hanscom AFB, MA (Feb. 24, 2022) – The Hanscom Federal Credit Union board of directors presented its annual Board Memorial Award to Clear Path for Veterans, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans fully rejoin their communities once they return home. The $1,500 grant, which honors past and present Hanscom FCU board members, is given annually to a volunteer group that serves Hanscom Federal Credit Union’s membership base.

Clear Path for Veterans provides services to returning veterans through their Veterans’ Community Center, with a special focus on reconnecting veterans to their communities. Their Center provides veterans with a safe and supportive place to find resources and will target the many different facets of a person’s wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, occupational, intellectual, and physical.

“We want to honor veterans in as many ways as possible,” said John Delcore, Hanscom FCU’s chairman of the board. “Clear Path for Veterans is doing invaluable work to make sure our returning service members are cared for in every way. Hanscom FCU cares very much about our greater military family, from the mental and physical health of those with injuries from their service to the social and emotional health that comes from being part of a community.”
