WealthTrek - Questing FAQs

What is Questing? 

• If you've played an escape room before, this will feel familiar to you! You'll be playing with your group, exploring a space, solving puzzles, and learning ways to protect or enhance your own personal finances in order to progress through a story. Each questing experience ranges from 30 minutes to an hour to complete.

 An escape room? Does that mean I’m locked in the space? 

• Absolutely not! You are free to leave the questing area whenever you’d like – all the doors through which you enter remain unlocked the entire time.

 Why is a credit union creating (providing) a questing experience?

• At our core, WealthTrek values the ability to make education By gamifying traditional financial concepts, we reject boring jargon and destigmatize the conversation around money, allowing people to play to learn. Each room covers a different financial topic to equip you with concepts to apply to your own financial journey.

Is this experience family friendly? 

• Yes! We recommend all participants are 12 years or older. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

 Will I be playing with other people? 

• You will be paired only with the people you bring with you. We provide private experiences only.

 Do I need to know anything about personal finance before playing? 

• No! We’ve designed the experience to provide everything you need within the game. You’ll learn important financial tips along the way.

 How early should I arrive? 

• Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow ample time to sign waivers, use the restroom, and hear the rules of the room. 

 Do you accept walk-ins? 

• A reservation is ideal, but you are welcome to walk-in to determine if we have availability.

 What if I have to reschedule or cancel? 

• No problem! We appreciate you letting us know as early as possible so we can get other questers into the experience in that time slot.

 What does this experience cost? 

• It doesn't cost anything! Our members make educational questing possible. Make sure to book ahead of time to ensure the time you want to play is available.
